My Story

How Iron Peak Began

My journey into landscaping started when I was 14 years old. I went door to door in my neighborhood asking if anyone needed help, and my first job was pulling weeds for $2.50 an hour. Soon after, my dad paid me $5 an hour to rake up rocks, and I began helping him, along with other family members, with projects like tree trimming and general landscape work. Those early experiences taught me the value of hard work, earning trust, and taking pride in doing every job right.

As I gained experience, I started advertising my services on Facebook and Nextdoor to find customers of my own. In the beginning, I didn’t have a truck, so I used my family’s van and borrowed my dad’s tools until I could afford my own. A couple months after turning 16, I bought my dad’s old truck. I couldn’t afford the full price, so he loaned me the rest, which gave me the opportunity to take on more work. By the end of that same summer, I had earned enough to buy my first trailer. Looking back, every project was another chance to learn, improve my skills, and build relationships with the people who trusted me to work on their homes.

Today, Iron Peak Landscaping is built on the same values that started it years ago: hard work, honest communication, and quality craftsmanship. I personally manage every project from the first estimate to the final walkthrough, treating every property with the same care and attention I’d expect for my own. My goal is simple: build outdoor spaces that homeowners can enjoy for years to come while earning a reputation for doing the job right.
